Wildlife Sense is a private research organization focused on the science-based conservation of sea turtles in Kefalonia. Even though Wildlife Sense performs a public service, it does not accept donations due to its private status.

The founders of Wildlife Sense together with a number of residents of Kefalonia founded the "Society for the Sea Turtles of Kefalonia", a non-governmental charitable organization focused on the rescue and rehabilitation of sea turtles, the promotion of public awareness about sea turtles and the problems they face, and the creation of a sea turtle education centre.
